Celebrating James Taylor: ACS Group CEO Named to CSE’s 2026 40 Under 40

We are excited to share that our CEO, James Taylor, P.E., has been named to Consulting-Specifying Engineer’s (CSE) 2026 40 Under 40 list. CSE just officially announced this year’s honorees earlier this week, on May 11, 2026. This is one of the most respected honors in the non-residential building and engineering world, and we could not be prouder of him.
From a Two-Person Startup to Where We Are Today
James and fellow principal David Neschke founded Advanced Consulting Solutions (ACS) Group in 2020, choosing to build something new at a time when most people were playing it safe. What they have created together — a team of over 20 professionals, more than 275 clients, and 770+ completed projects across multiple cities — is something we are all proud to be part of.
He Leads People, Not Just Projects
What makes James stand out is not just the growth of the company, but more so, it is in how he leads. He creates space for people to do their best work, grow professionally, and actually enjoy showing up. That culture is something we feel every day at ACS, and it comes straight from the top.
Always Giving Back
Outside the office, James gives his time and energy just as generously. From serving on the board of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization Las Vegas chapter to volunteering at Our Lady of Las Vegas School and supporting underserved communities, he leads with heart in every space he occupies.
